Welcome
to the home page of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary,
Division 6 of the 13th Coast Guard District. We invite you
to explore this site and encourage you to contact us if you
would like additional information.
Our Division includes Flotillas located in West Port Washington,
Ilwaco Washington, Astoria Oregon, Tillamook Oregon,
Albany/Corvallis Oregon, Salem Oregon and McMinnville Oregon.
We support the U.S. Coast Guard with recreational boating safety
education instruction, providing vessels for safety patrols and
radio communications equipment. Members assist the Coast Guard
at the Coast Guard Stations, providing trained radio operators,
computer operators for data input, galley assistance, vehicle
drivers, day-board assembly, photographers, trained assistants
for disaster operations and much more. There is a job for just
about anyone who whishes to assist.
Auxiliary boat facilities, communications facilities and ICS
(Incident Command System) response trained personnel are
available to your community in the event of a disaster by
calling your local Coast Guard Station and requesting Auxiliary
assistance. The Coast Guard has full control of the U.S. Coast
Guard Auxiliary assets and can order them to duty as needed.
All Auxiliarists are volunteers who donate their time and
equipment. I am proud to serve you and our Coast Guard as a
